A contemporary take on the traditional Shunga prints of Japan, and painted in a flat Pop Art/cartoon style to heighten the contrast between the paint and the surface of the antique plywood (sourced from Victoria and Albert Museum crates).
However, here I’ve reversed the power balance of the usually dominant phallus metaphor that is the tentacle, by having the woman take control, and use it for her own sexual gratification.
