TOUCH GRASS: AN EXHIBITION ABOUT LOGGING OFF AND SHOWING UP

After the momentum of our last sold-out exhibition, FACE 2 FACE, we return with TOUCH GRASS on June 5th. A new exhibition and community-led experience landing at Laundry Studios.

At its core, TOUCH GRASS is less of a theme and more a call to action. In a moment defined by obsessive digital living, doom scrolling, curated identities, and algorithmic addictions, the exhibition asks a simple question: what does it mean to be present again?

Rather than retreating from culture, TOUCH GRASS reframes it. The outdoors becomes both subject and metaphor, as a space where creative expression happens in real time, with real people and absolutely incredible art from circa 100 of the best artists around. Across graffiti, skate culture, photography, protest art, sport, fashion and architecture, the show explores how public space continues to act as one of the last truly democratic canvases.

There’s an immediacy to the work on display, a sense that these aren’t just artworks to observe, but fragments of something ongoing. Park benches, street corners, skate decks, wheat pasted walls, moments of peace in nature as well as the intersection where humanity impacts it. The exhibition draws from environments where culture is lived as much as it is made.

This ethos extends beyond the walls of Laundry Studios. Rooted in our OFFLINE BY DESIGN philosophy, the evening is structured as a communal experience rather than for passive viewing. As part of the exhibition, visitors can expect live art interventions, hands-on workshops, and a social atmosphere designed to encourage interaction over observation. Who doesn’t love free pizza?!

In a time where so much of culture is mediated through screens, TOUCH GRASS offers something increasingly rare, a chance to step into it, in real life, with other people.
