CALLING ALL curators

please read before you apply

At Creative Debuts, we’ve always believed that powerful creative ecosystems are built through collaboration. As our programme continues to grow, we’re opening up our curators network and inviting independent curators, collectives and cultural producers to work with us across exhibitions, commercial projects and live events.

As our history proves, collaborating with other curators and providing them with the megaphone to shout about their own work and their own creative communities has been a common thread from our inception in 2013.

This call out is about championing curators as cultural connectors, those shaping conversations, nurturing communities and creating platforms for artists to thrive. We’re keen to collaborate with curators who have a clear point of view, a strong sense of care for artists, and a desire to build inclusive, ambitious projects that centre on culture, community and collaboration.

Opportunities will span our First Thursday exhibitions, workplace and hospitality commissions, brand partnerships, pop-ups, and experimental event formats. Whether you’re working with emerging artists, underrepresented voices, or cross-disciplinary practices, we want to hear from you.

This is not about fitting into a house style. It’s about giving curators the space, support and infrastructure to realise their own projects with integrity, as well as accessing paid opportunities, wider audiences and long-term partnerships. We’re especially interested in curators who are rooted in specific communities, cities or creative scenes, and who see curation as a tool for connection, education and change.
