Nala Haileselassie (b.2001) is a multidisciplinary artist from Tkaronto/Toronto completing her BFA in Film Studies at X* University. Through film, illustration, printmaking, short animation and digital design, her current body of work explores afrofuturism, social justice and collective memory through her lens as a child of Tigrayan immigrants. She wishes to use her practice as a tool for collaboration, discussion and liberation.
